To the drawing board and back
You may wonder where Nightlite Mary has been lo these many months. The answer is that we've finished our first album, which should be ready for human consumption in mere weeks. A huge shout to Paul Nolan, who took it upon himself to remix and master all of our tracks. They sound better than ever. We'll be replacing all of our sample tracks on the site shortly, and send along info on how to get the album as a download or to order a physical copy. So keep watch for updates to our store, our music page and more. It's all coming quite soon. It all seems so fitting now, just about a year since the official formation of the band, that we're finishing an album several years in the making.

NLM does all it can do
The newest Nightlite Mary track is online now. "All I can do" is upbeat and honest. Lots of guitars (a real lot) and lots of big drums. Check it out on our music page. Our first album is near completion, with just a few more songs in the hopper to be mixed down. We've already got two more ready for release, so keep your eyes on us.

Bar hopping with Nightlite Mary
Today, Nightlite Mary releases its seventh track, "Running," a tale of loneliness in the midst of a crowd. It's an upbeat track, and one we hope you'll enjoy. There's so much more ahead. We've got another track, "All I can do," ready for release, and plenty more songs to come.
November 14, 2008:
Nothing tired about NLM's newest track
NLM is picking up the pace. It's only been two weeks since we dropped "Blessed and haunted," and we've already got another new track, "Tired of me, tired of you." It's a tune about the end of something...about that moment when you realize whatever you had just isn't worth saving anymore. Sounds uplifting, right? Anyway, it's one of our favorites. We think you'll like it too. Keep watching. We're just a few days away from posting more new tracks.
November 3, 2008:
Another new NLM track released
It's been a little over a month since our last release, but we think we've got something that will make up for it. Today, NLM has released "Blessed and haunted," our fifth new track since July. It's pensive, atmospheric and hopeful. It comes on the heels of "In your hands," which has seen nearly 900 plays this month so far. If you haven't yet, please join the Nightlite Mary army on MySpace. We've got lots of friends there. And soon, you'll hear lots more music...
October 13, 2008:
They're playing our song...
NLM fans have probably noticed how quickly we're growing. We've been adding friends and chalking up tons of plays and profile views on MySpace for the past couple of months, and our total streams on MySpace alone are just shy of 3,000. We think that's a pretty good start. In addition, you will soon be able to catch our first single, "Have you seen me?" on three Internet radio stations...they're small, but it's a start. We've got confirmation that "Have you seen me?" will go into the automation on BreeFM this week. They're a little station that you can find on Blogspot (breefm.blogspot.com). They're playing primarily music from the Lonelygirl15 web show, but are also doing their part to promote indie music. Check them out, and be sure to show your support of NLM. We've got lots more music coming, so stay tuned!

NLM drops new track in your hands
"In your hands," NLM's fourth release, is available for streaming from our music page, from MySpace, and will soon be available for purchase in our store. And we're working on a few new additions to our website, including the relaunch of our vault of rare old tracks, and an faq section, where we'll address all the burning questions you've been asking over the past couple of months. Stay tuned, kids. There's lots more on the way.
September 12, 2008:
Someday available right now
Nightlite Mary's third track, "Someday," is available to stream from our site, or purchase in our

August 25, 2008:
NLM kills Sally
Nightlite Mary's second track, "Killing Sally," is available to stream from our site, or purchase in our
store. It's fun, dark, and has a 50s feel that will make you dance. Keep your eyes here for more news, coming soon!
July 29, 2008:
New gear available
Now you can show your support for NLM by getting your own Nightlite Mary tee shirt at our
store. We'll soon add coffee mugs and new shirt designs to the mix, so check back often to see what's new!
July 25, 2008:
Join us on MySpace
We've picked up a MySpace page, and in just a couple of days have had more than 400 profile views. and our first public tune, "Have you seen me?," has already been played about 200 times. That's a good start. If you're on MySpace, befriend us. We'll send out updates there so you'll know when we've posted new tracks. If you don't have a MySpace (like Dan), maybe you should get one.

Nightlite Mary embarks on virtual world tour
Okay, not really. Or maybe, depending on how you look at it. The three of us have decided to give ourselves a name, put the music we've worked on over the years at the feet of the online public and, well, that's as far as the plan goes. We've enlisted the help of the talented Joe Martell, who is mixing and mastering our most recent stuff, and we plan to put lots online in the coming months. As of today, we've got 14 "vault" tracks online...stuff from the wayback days...all unfinished, but we think worth listening to. It's all about the creative process, and our vault section shows that process in an unpolished form.
The new stuff, of course, will have polish, and we think they're some of the best songs we've done. Please, feel free to poke around, or drop us an e-mail. We'd love to hear from you.
